Dear friend

I would like to welcome you to our brochure about Brenderup Højskole. I hope this will inspire you to take part in the life, we live at Brenderup Højskole. In the following pages we have made a description of the various subjects – these subjects which will frame your stay at Brenderup Højskole.

Surely we would like to describe the social environment, the spare time and the friendship – but it’s very hard. To feel all of this you better come around to see what kind of place we are – to see whether you want to put your life in this game.

Literally we have dragged the world into Brenderup Højskole. At our place you can meet young people from all over the world. The teaching is build on this difference or you might even say equality. Your life, your interests in the light of others eyes. This moves your prejudices and gives you a new kind of perspective and personal skills that will follow you for the rest of your life.

Some classes are only taught in English but the rest of the classes are taught in both danish and English.

Generally the long stay can last from 12 weeks to 10 months – but we can always have a talk about duration and admission time. If you are in a hurry to get on our folk high school and just can’t wait until the beginning of the semester, then you call us and we’ll find a solution.

Life at a folk highschool is literally living together. We eat together, make projects together, go on day trips and study trip together, inhale culture together, party together and get exhausted together.

We will look forward to seeing you.

Best regards

Ole Dedenroth
Principal

At Brenderup Folk High School we have a long tradition of inviting foreign students to come spend a semester with us. Today, this is a key factor in the concept we call the intercultural exchange.

This section is primarily intended for such students.

Here you can read about our courses in general.

This is also where you’ll find answers to questions such as how?, how much?, how long?, and where do I sign up?
